Our hours are from Monday to Thursday 8:30AM - 4:30PM and Friday 8:30AM - 4:00PM. If you have any medical questions, please feel free to call the office. The office staff has been trained to answer most questions. If they are unable to answer your questions immediately, your chart will be reviewed and the answer will be relayed to you as soon as possible. Urgent messages will, of course, be put through to the doctors immediately. If you are calling for a prescription renewal, please have your pharmacy call or fax our office. This will allow us to handle your request as efficiently as possible. Please allow 48 hours for refill requests. Refill requests are not filled on weekends.
Patients are seen by appointment only, except for emergencies. Return appointments should be made at the time you are leaving the office. Adequate time is allotted for each visit and we request that you cancel any appointments that cannot be kept. Be assured that you will be seen the same day if a true medical emergency arises.
Payment for medical services, copayments, and coinsurance are expected at the time of service. Because of the daily changes in insurance companies and networks, it is your responsibility to verify that Dr. Barry Resnik participates in your insurance plan.
Cosmetic services and products are never billed to insurance and must be paid for at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept local checks, MasterCard, Visa, Amex and Discover.
Dr. Resnik is on staff and consults at Aventura Medical Center, UM/JMH Medical Center, Miami Children’s Hospital, and area nursing homes.
Dr. Resnik personally handles night and weekend emergency call so that someone is available at all times. Resnik Skin Institute
