5-fluorouracil in 99% pyruvic acid for Warts
Warts can be really hard to treat, and respond to some of our medicines some of the time. 5-fluorouracil is a medicine that is used by vein for internal cancers, and externally for skin growths. It also works well in the
treatment of warts. This is a compounded medicine, and is neither approved nor disapproved by the FDA.
The warts to be treated are marked by the patient. A wisp of cotton is placed on the wart and saturated with a few drops of the solution. A piece of non-porous tape is then placed over each wisp and secured with duct tape. The tape is removed in 6h, and the area is washed with soap and water. The tape can be removed earlier at signs of discomfort.
Just like all other wart therapies, multiple sessions and multiple therapies may be necessary to clear your warts.
